I wrote an article for The Telegraph asking what has happened to our high streets and town centres and why is it that some people think they can rob shops with impunity and abuse staff without any fear of retribution?
Have we slid into a 'help yourself' society where an increasing number of selfish people take what they can without putting anything back in?
