I was delighted to open the FiLiA Women's Rights Conference and welcome over 2,500 delegates from all over the world to Brighton. Charity organisers described the 3-day event as 'Europe's biggest grassroots feminist conference'.
Despite the disgraceful violence and attempts by trans activists to intimidate those attending, the conference provided an important space for bold conversations and for amplifying the views, thoughts and voices of women.
